House Sitter Job in Santa Fe, New Mexico

Located in an idyllic setting just north of Santa Fe, my sister Princie and I (Valentino) want someone to stay with us while our parents are traveling. We don't need walks as our yard is pretty big (and completely fenced in) and we get a lot of exercise chasing critters ..... this leaves our new sitter friend plenty of time to pet us and just enjoy the surroundings. Our Mom and Dad have what they call a "Mini-Farm". When the weather is warm, we start our mornings with a walk through the different gardens.... you know, just to make sure everything looks like it’s OK. It goes a lot faster in the winter – not much to see. Then comes the good stuff - BREAKFAST! Mom will show you how we do that. During the course of the day we will want some lovin's which includes petting, tummy rubs, head scratches and (of course) treats. We pretty much settle back late morning or early afternoon and enjoy our naps. That is a good time to leave for a bit if you need to - but not too long. We only get left alone for 4 hours tops. Around 5 pm is our next favorite time - DINNER! The rest of the day is pretty laid back although Mom and Dad are usually tending to the gardens again in the evening which gives us a chance to hang together as a family and maybe bark at the cows again when they are in the neighbor field (we are a mix of herding breeds after all). Mom and Dad are saying that they want someone who is responsible and reliable. I’m not 100% sure what those multi-syllabic words mean, but they sound like they are very important to my folks. Princie and I are anxious to meet you if you are interested in being our new pet sitter. Mom and Dad are looking to hire someone real soon as they are planning on visiting family and friends out of town that they have not been able to see much over the past few years.
