As someone who has lived and worked in multiple contexts over the past several years, I have learned various skills to quickly adapt to the diverse needs of many of my employers. During my time in Chicago, I have worked numerous jobs as a Care Giver in the city and its surrounding suburbs. During my time working with companies such as Life Style Options, Freedom home Care, and Little City foundation, I provided multiple housekeeping services such cooking, sweeping, washing dishes, and others. More than this, however, my work often required me to be closely attached to my customers and provide them with further assistance in tasks such as medication reminders, walking, setting doctor appointments, hygienic care, etc. At times, I was also required to provide companionship and compassionate care. Through such work, I learned the more intimate details of how to make a more tranquil home, as well as how to recognize the specific needs of individual households. Having also worked as a kitchen potter, I also recognize the needs required from a faster paced working environment involving multiple other coworkers. My job involved ensuring a clean work area to facilitate the cooking. My tasks thus involved organizing storerooms and unloading deliveries, as well as washing dishes, crockery, cutlery and stoves. I am thus fully conditioned to working with others around me in order to create a functioning and sanitary area. Additionally, my travels have also given me the opportunity to work in London, UK, where I was I helped maintain a number of construction sites. In addition to my site cleaning and tool management responsibilities, I was also in charge of ensuring the safety of any visitors to the area. My knowledge of housekeeping is thus supplemented by my additional experience of basic handyman work. My many years of experience in various workplaces, both here and abroad, has given me the ability to adapt to any challenges I come across, which further enhances my ability to provide high quality service to every individual who hires me.
