House Sitter Job in Berthoud, Colorado

We are looking for a responsible, non-smoking, clean, mature single adult or couple to stay in our home from Sept. 7 to Nov. 7. Our home is located 55 miles NW of Denver, 25 miles N of Boulder, 11 miles NW of Longmont, and 25 miles S of Ft. Collins. The closest town (8 miles) is Berthoud, a small which offers all essential amenities including a nice grocery store, restaurants, bakery, hardware store, drug store, park, etc. We are only 2 miles from Carter Lake, which provides hiking, swimming, fishing and boating. We are also only an hour's drive from Estes Park, the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. The world's best skiing is two hour's away but, in general, not available until December. Our custom house is fairly small and includes 2 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, dining room, living room, study, utility room, and kitchen on four levels. There is also an attached garage, as well as a deck and patio. We have 1 amazingly lovely cat, a 12 year old female named Bristol. She is a strictly indoor cat and is accustomed to a great deal of attention and affection. Our house is located in a valley and affords great wildlife viewing. We have numerous bird species (including golden eagles and several hawks/falcons), lots of deer, raccoons, occasional elk, coyotes, and bobcats. We are also fortunate in having several extremely nice neighbors who have become friends with some past house sitters. Thank you for your consideration.
