House Sitter in South Bend, Indiana

I am very interested in this job I've been in this field every since 1976. Starting at Fountainview View Nursing Home in Elkhart Indiana on Hively I've also worked at Beacon Center and South Bend I took care of my terminally ill mother in law father-in-law and two sisters which tied to a seven weeks apart so these are areas that I feel that I am very qualified in from the use of oxygen to the mental and emotional stages I do feel that I'm very qualified for this. And I have all the qualifications that's needed for patient advocacy. I work for Ernie Beal group homes I also work for fresh new start group homes I'm very excited about working again I do feel that I have a lot to bring to the table this is a field that I feel as my calling I don't mind getting dirty I don't mind the highs and the lows of it sometimes but at the end of the day my only concern is that whoever I taking care of that day had a better quality of day yesterday and the day before being sick and being in a facility does not mean that your life stops the quality of life depend on what's being offered to you and how other people treat you because you're sick and because you're ill it doesn't mean that you are not capable of managing your own personal responsibilities to a certain extent and when you can't do it that's when we would come in and be there to help them as well if they got up they didn't feel like washing their back that's what I'm there for if she wanted me to go and pick flowers because she's used to seeing a flower pot or fresh-cut vase of flowers on her table everyday I feel that's when I'm there for there's so many things that we can do in this area another one that I am promoting tremendously is the fact that we have thousands of people that are in facilities and they have no family or if they have family they comes in so sporadically I do believe that the family would love to have someone there and keep them in the know with the progress of their loved ones. Maybe once or twice a month if we had a folder to show them what we've been focusing on what we've been ,care of what we are looking into having done ect ect I believe that more family members that it would make them feel better knowing that someone was sitting there in their place as a patient advocate they to have say family because it's of the term but I would say to some extent a mixture of the doctor and the attorneys sitting there because we are to know what their rights are and was seen taking place with them as far as there medical routine and I'm always ready to learn I am a team worker by far! I put a hundred and ten into any job that I work in when I walk back into the room I want to make sure the patient is happy because if the patient's not happy then I'm not happy. My only goal is to be in there and give each individual patient with as much quality of life as I possibly can so I hope you will consider me and I'm looking forward to hearing back from you real soon me .Jackie Small
