House Sitter in Albuquerque, New Mexico

I am a single, mature woman who loves animals. I have a 60 lb Rottie mix named Shil-Loh. I picked her up off of the streets of Window Rock, AZ a little over 7 years ago. I used to go there to help a friend with cleaning, shopping, and other chores. She was the first of 9 dogs I picked up off of there. All the others I took the the New Mexico Humane Society, and all but 1 were adopted out. The other one was a 6 week old puppy that was very sick and had to be put down. My friend moved to Albuquerque, so my Window Rock dog rescue mission came to an end. I am very active in my church, serving on the pastoral council, finance council, and am involved in many other ministries. I had a 25 year career in Corporate Accounting. I served 8 years in the Nevada Army National Guard, while I lived in Las Vegas. I commanded 75 troops and over 1 million accident free miles as a Transportation Officer. I am currently in business with my mom. We buy, fix, and sell houses. Running my own business gives me the flexibility to house and pet sit. We work the Santa Fe and Albuquerque markets. For the past 6 months I've been house and pet sitting in Albuquerque.
