Poet and medical student, we are two outdoorsy folks who love hiking, biking, and exploring the world at large. We have cared for pets and houses in a variety of cities, for people based in Calgary, Toronto, Sydney, and more. Our usual schedule lends itself to housesitting quite harmoniously. Four-legged friends are the perfect addition to our outdoor expeditions, and our quiet evenings are optimal for the safety of your lovely home. For 7 years, Miranda managed a 6-bedroom home and all of the responsibilities that came along with it. Calling plumbers and specialists, doing home repairs, and keeping the space optimally beautiful to attract the right sort of roommates was all par for the course. With that experience, she learned to treat any house like her own, respond to emergencies when needed, and has brought those skills forward into our house sitting jobs. We feel lucky to have made two and four-legged friends around the country and globe. Since our transience doesn't allow us to have pets of our own, pet-sitting gives us the gift of pet ownership when we wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity.
