I am conscientious, reliable, mature and a responsible ( drug-free, smoke free, COVID19 free) person and a bit of a global citizen in terms of my outlook on the world. I am in my 40's. As a Canadian I decided early on to venture out and I worked and lived in different countries in the past decades ( i.e.Germany, Swizerland, UK, Nigeria, US etc) and most of the time enjoy traveling and getting to know different places and people. In my view a house sit is an opportunity in exchange for rendering certain reasonable services to the home owner to live rent free in a safe environment for a specific time period. As I see it, it should be a straight forward a 100 % no-nonsense arrangement that benefits both sides. I keep my word when I am expected to complete an assignment ( my supervisors at previous work places can attest to that) and or get something done by a certain deadline. I am someone who believes in open communication, and harbour a strong dislike (if not hate ) for arrogance, deceitfulness, stupidity, control-mindedness in people. I have no issues with following a directive or instruction if it is all within ( logical) reason of course. I myself am a clean person, I like to clean and maintain a tidy environment which can be kept presentable, so this also extends to living in different premises and places. Moreover I can provide for safety at a home while the homeowner is away. I always use my common sense, and try to avoid acting upon impulse , so as to to avoid bad consequences and potential big problems / hazards. I can do all kind of house cleaning related chores, i.e including cleaning common areas/rooms, pet walking, pet feeding mow the lawn / clean things up in the garden, water plants if required.
