House Sitter Job in Palo Alto, California

I am looking for a great person or possibly couple to both house sit and cat sit during an upcoming holiday. We live in Palo Alto. It is a modest but comfortable home. The key requirement is to loving care for your beloved cat. He is older (15) and very friendly. Duties include feeding, providing water, giving TLC, cleaning out the litter box, etc. IF there were health issues (not expected but in case) then to handle that with our normal vet or emergency vet. Beyond that, take basic care of the house while we are out of town. Includes brining in mail and newspapers, putting out the trash/recycling on the appropriate day, checking that no smoke/etc. alarm is going off, etc. Basic "care for the empty house" type of responsibilities.
