House Sitter in Courtenay, British Columbia

I'm a retired teacher who had lived all my life in Vancouver, B.C. but travelled extensively. My husband and I have retired to a Canadian Gulf Island to garden, do hobbies and generally live life well. I do get tired of the country life sometimes though and my husband never wants to leave our garden - hence my application as a house/pet sitter. Our beloved dog died last summer at the age of 16 and we have a cat and a new puppy so I'm used to pets. We both took dog training, 2 two month sessions of general obedience and tracking (but the cat refuses to participate). I have managed a house and garden for most of my 65 years so I will be a responsible and careful sitter.
