We believe that house sitters owe homeowners the highest degree of care -- both in looking after the owners' home and in caring for the owners' treasured pets. Our first priority is fulfilling our duty of care to the owners who entrust us with this responsibility. We are an active retired couple who house sit full time. We are mature, responsible, reliable, respectful, and considerate. We have decades of experience looking after and maintaining our own homes, and even more years of experience caring for our own dogs and cats. In addition, we have a considerable amount of experience volunteering with organizations which care for animals. We fully understand a family's emotional connection to their home and their pets, and the need to be responsible, considerate, and respectful when entrusted with something so personal as the care of another family's home and pets. We are fastidious and tidy, and are best suited to caring for a well-maintained home. We work best with homeowners who are particular about how they want their home managed and maintained, and how they want their animals cared for. We're comfortable establishing and living by a routine that is consistent with the needs and expectations of the owners' pets. Neither one of us smokes or uses . And while Kim will have an occasional glass of wine with dinner, Jack does not drink at all. We do not use house sitting to vacation or sightsee. During house sitting assignments, we stick close to the homeowners' home and pets. When we do vacation, we vacation between house sitting assignments. We have a police background-check document. We have quite a few written reviews/references from the house sitting assignments that we've completed. And we can provide the telephone numbers of homeowners for whom we've worked so that those who wish to can speak with the homeowners about us directly. From the homeowners for whom we have worked, you will read and hear that we are professional, trustworthy, responsible, dependable, considerate, respectful, and easy to work with.
