House Sitter in Boothbay Harbor, Maine

I'm a married, mother of 2 (one in Grad School pursuing her MBA and the other at VA Tech as an Undergrad) looking for housesitting jobs anywhere Maine within 60 miles of the coastline! I'm currently writing a book, and I love the inspiration I find in the Maine Fall weather and views I find when I visit! I'm hoping to finish my current book by the end of this year, while also helping any family that needs a very reliable and trustworthy person to care for their home when they need to be away for work or vacation. I'm very handy and can help out with errands and chores and keep your place safe and tidy so you can be away without any worries and return home to a clean, well-kept home by someone you can trust! I can provide many great references, and I am born and bred full of good values and southern manners and very friendly and kind. I love animals if you happen to need me to care for them, too! I've been happily married for 23 years to my high school sweetheart, and now that our two kids are both away at college and my husband is running his family-owned business here in VA and has to travel often, I have been working on a book that I have been wanting to write for many years. Our children have always been our first priority in our lives, so now my husband and I agree that I should pursue my passion of writing full-time since I have found an abundance of extra time is available as my life has always revolved full-time around raising our two incredibly successful children. I do travel a lot, and have visited Maine often, (it even crosses our minds often to possibly purchase a small residence there to spend part of the year due to my love of the area!) and because I find that the Fall season in the Northeast section of the country is quite inspirational for my writing! So since I'm already used to managing and maintaining our large home full-time for 25 years, I'm also quite handy and capable to care for the inside and outside of a home, and the fact I care for others possessions just as my own, I find that house-sitting in Maine could be a "win-win" situation for the right homeowner or family that may be looking for a very honest and very dependable person to maintain their home when they need to be away! Although this website asked me to list a location of availability and interest, and I chose Boothbay Harbor since it is a special area to me, I am willing to travel to anywhere in Maine that can stay within an hour or two drive, at most, within reach of any area of the coast.
