House Sitter in Brantford, Ontario

Early 50’s female, animal lover and former Occupational Therapist, with over 20 housesitting adventures I am recently retired and now available for local to Brantford sits. I am a pet owner (1 dog, 5 cats, and a horse) who lives in Brantford, ON Canada, who has significant travel experience (20 countries). I have lived in the UK as well a the UAE. Married to my husband who works in the Middle East, whilst I manage our rental property portfolio. During my ‘sits’ I tend to spend most of my time in the home reading, & working online. As a result, your animals will be well catered for with lots of walks for the dogs and cuddle time for the cats. Throughout my housesitting journey i have had the pleasure of taking care of ….cats, dogs, chickens, turkeys, goats, tortoise, guinea pigs, rabbits, mice, hamsters, gerbils, bearded dragon, birds, and fish. My experience as a volunteer gives me the confidence to care for animals with ongoing medical issues including the giving of medications orally. Whilst I lived in Abu Dhabi I owned and managed my own pet sitting business called Mrs Doolittles. My experience in managing our rental properties means I am very comfortable with dealing with property emergencies and dealing with tradesmen if necessary. Spending time at our home on 5 acres and also our apartment in the Middle East means I also get to indulge my love of all things green, both inside and outside. Sensitivity, discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality were core to my career as an Occupational Therapist; all aspects that I know are important to anyone allowing a relative stranger access to their home and beloved animals. I am a highly organized, trusted and reliable individual who fully understands the need to communicate in a timely and consistent manner, mainly because I also use house sitters and know the peace of mind this engenders.
