House Sitter in Bogalusa, Louisiana

Im a nurse, wife, mother of 3. Non-smoker, non-drinker. I'm currently enjoying raising my youngest daughter, who just turned 5, my oldest daughter just started her Freshman year at LSU, their brother will go to college also next year, so I'm just looking for extra things to do to make ends meet, do a little traveling, and to save up for the holidays. I've had over 20 years of experience with various types of customer service, I enjoy helping others, caring for their pets/homes, doing the right thing, and trying to raise my kids and teach them to be productive members of society :) I was a teen mom long before it was a cool tv show, raised my 2 older kids alone and have always been a hard worker and tried to set a good example for them. I'm a college graduate, southern-born&raised, hard-working, driven, family-oriented individual. My husband & I have been married for 6 years, best friends for 16. Recently, we got some news regarding my health, so I took some time off- to enjoy my family, and less stress, for the first time since I was 15 years old! I have tons of experience with caring for many different types of animals and people. We love animals and want to travel and see new places, especially out west and to the west coast. We are looking for live-in sitting jobs, short-term or long-term is ok. I like to bring my husband when he is off work, so he can help with the heavier duties and outdoor work, he is a heavy equipment operator, welder, diesel mechanic, engineer, so he is great at those things. We want to do your property maintenance and management for you. We both grew up in the country, on farms, so we have experience with large animals as well, plus knowledge of the farm equipment and physical requirements. Our 5 year old, McKenzie, would also be helping us with caring for your pets and home, we just ask that your pets be kid-friendly, though she is well-behaved and acts more like an adult... I'm a nurse by profession, so any extra care and medications for your pets are not a problem, I'm happy to do those things for any of your pets- just leave me clear instructions and supplies and we are good to go. Traveling is great with us, so distance is not an issue! If you would like to know anything else, just ask.
