House Sitter in Charleston, South Carolina

I believe housesitting is a more enriching experience as you get to see the life and set-up of a local. It's not a sterile apartment with no character, but rather you get to step into another person's story! I am constantly inspired by how people decorate and make a house into a home. Stepping into another's house is a way to gain perspective on how others live. I also know that I am very organized and clean and would do a great job keeping someone's home in great shape. about me: I have had the wonderful opportunity to travel internationally over the past decade for nonprofit work and to gain new perspectives and experiences. I have thoroughly enjoyed living with host families in various countries, such as Brazil, Guatemala, Nepal, Costa Rica, Vietnam and more. I enjoy the process of learning languages, getting to know the locals and how to respect their way of living. I believe education is a life-long process and I enjoy the following activities: learning languages, running, hiking, yoga, dancing, reading, writing, swimming, and helping others. I have been part of the couch surfing community and have enjoyed meeting locals in their environment!
