Hello, My name is Kristin! Helping make your life easier, more relaxed and de-stressed is my top priority, and I truly care about your needs and the needs of your precious pets. As a long time pet owner myself, I am grateful to offer my extensive experience caring for animals of all kinds, especially dogs and cats, in many different homes, for most of my life! I’d love to establish a friendly, trustworthy, and respectful house sitting relationship with you and your beloved pets! I am passionate about treating all people and animals with the utmost love and kindness, for animals are such a reflection of unconditional love to humans. Making a positive, kind, and compassionate impact in the lives of others and the environment, is an important value that I live by. As well as pet care, I can offer my experience and skills in areas like plant care, mail collection, home upkeep, and laundry. In my free time, volunteering has been a great outlet for learning, and growing. I’ve worked with young puppies and kittens at adoption centers, as well as volunteer dog walking for animal shelters, and volunteering with puppies being trained as guide dogs. It is a joy to be able to interact with many different breeds of cats and dogs as well as other critters. I am certified in wildlife rehabilitation, and have cared for senior pets and pets with special needs. I enjoy walking dogs on a regular basis. When pet sitting, I enjoy playing with dogs at home and outside, tug of war, fetch, giving treats and belly rubs, going out to the park, going for a run or walk, and cuddling up at night. I offer a consistent presence when pet sitting, and send frequent pictures and updates in my communications so your mind is at ease. Some passions and interests in my life are meditation, mindfulness, psychology, philosophy, singing, yoga, art, creativity, reading, and writing, which are a part of my daily life. I’m fascinated by brain science, biology, marine life, botany, permaculture, and naturalism, and love literature, ancient cultures and history, and visiting museums. You can frequently find me exploring botanical gardens and aquariums, going sailing, and exploring nature parks and beaches. I also like to cook, and eat a plant-based diet.
