House Sitter in Durham, North Carolina

Hola! I am a 69 year-old retired middle school teacher and university supervisor from Las Cruces, New Mexico. Currently, my daughter and son-in-law, their young twin daughters, and old yellow Lab live in Durham County. She is a public relations director for a large umbrella company, and he is a professor at UNC. The little girls are in Kindergarten. While I love staying with my family when I visit, I might be able to extend my visits, if I had alternative housing options nearby. House/pet sitting would provide me with that opportunity. As a result, I would be able to stay in close and active proximity to my grand daughters and their activities, while giving cherished space and privacy to my family. Additionally, in my own home, we have a very senior female chocolate Lab and one very robust and chunky male calico cat. I know how to walk dogs, if they are calm and lead trained. I know how to clean litter boxes, feed on schedule, and provide a warm lap. I know how to collect the mail, water plants, put trash and recycle containers to the curb, and follow a lawn watering schedule, if needed.
