Water plants, vacuum, set out trash on trash day,turn lights on and off or whatever you feel your home needs while you are away. I can live there if there is a pet that needs attending (but prefer to just give it the appearance that some one is at home). You 've invested a lot into your home, its where you and your family share memories and sometimes you just need the reassurance that they are being looked after with that personal touch.
