Hello there! It's me, Laura! I’m here for you and I'm ready to help you with all of your needs while you are away from home. Are you headed out of town for your much needed vacation, an unplanned or scheduled business trip, or maybe you have a second home to keep tabs on? Well, don't you worry about a thing - I've got your back! I can be your on-site eyes, ears, hands, and feet, should you ever have to leave your private residence, pets, and property for a few days or longer. Here are some important details about the many worry-free services I can provide: • I'm available to travel to your location - currently traveling and house-sitting. • I’m available for on-site care. • I have years of experience and many references from previous clients, ranging from the care of small vacation cottages & cabins and 2-12 bedroom homes – urban and rural settings. --> Most recently, I was part of a 3-man on-site management crew at a fishing lodge in Alaska. This included 6 weeks of solo management midwinter*. Camp consisted of a main lodge, 5 cabins, cookhouse, bathhouse, yurt, RV & camping facilities, and river access maintenance (*99% success rate in frozen pipe abatement). • I'm a problem solver: Most surprises don't throw me off**. (**see previous point). • I’m a LOVER of animals: I can provide excellent care for your well-behaved furry, feathered, or gilled friends…even those box jellyfish you might be raising. References from: 2 pigs, 22 chickens, 3 birds, 6 hamsters, 64 cats, 48 dogs, 100’s of fish. Basic horse care training. • I’m a green thumb: indoor and outdoor gardening & light landscaping skills acquired at long-term residence in Northern California. [Extensive hands-on 420 experience (additional rates applicable)] • I’m a tech savvy individual with a background in graphic design. I know my way around a computer. I’m adept at working with tech support, should any issues arise during your absence, re: security systems, home computers, etc. • I can pick up your mail, newspapers, packages, dry cleaning, and have fresh groceries and linens set for your return. Fresh flowers? Consider it done. • If needed: organize drawers/cupboards/closets, shovel walkways, snow-blow driveways (client will need to supply snowblower), provide basic life support, drive a manual transmission, motorcycles, 4 wheelers, back up trailers, operate heavy machinery: chainsaw, Bobcat.
