We are a couple in their 60s looking to house sit in the Ithaca, New York area. We are both US citizens, living in Switzerland and we have a son attending university in Ithaca who needs to be looked after during the 2017-201... academic year. We are happy to take care of pets, collect the mail, pay bills, water plants and do light cleaning and yard work. At any given time it might be one or the other of us staying in the house -- or occasionally both of us. We plan to either lease a car or purchase a used car, so transportation is not an issue.
