Hi Homeowner! I hope this finds you well. I am a writer. I am taking this year to turn my attentions to doing things that inspire me and to concentrate 100% on my craft. I need a peaceful and inspiring place to work. I am a Reading Teacher for elementary school children and I work on my soon to be published works at every spare moment. I would like to use my various house-sit positions as sources of peace and inspiration for my work, and I would relish the opportunity to care for your pets and home in exchange. I truly adore cats and dogs. I am an avid reader who likes it when cats nap on my belly and lap while I write and enjoy my reading. A dog’s upturned nose while his chin rests on my thigh is usually all I need to feel close to those four-legged creatures for whom I care. I am a mature personality, if not in age. I am dependable, very loving and respectful towards animals and humans alike, and I am not a fake person. I believe when you give respect you should receive it. I will respect you as long as you respect me. I don’t care to be around those personalities contrary to these attributes. I water plants, I am an excellent cleaner, I can pot around in your garden; if you think my small contribution worthy, and I love taking four-legged creatures on exploratory strolls. I have cared for various types of animals in my highly sought house sitting experience - cats, dogs, birds, fish, rabbits, chickens, horses, turtles, snakes, and hamsters. My skills in providing a loving environment for all my animals have been carefully crafted from patience, a desire to create a comfy atmosphere for their support and health, familial knowledge of the animal in my care, and a strong sense of duty to do an excellent job in everything I do. I would love the opportunity to showcase my skills caring for your animals and home. My humble goal is to find a perfectly quiet (quiet-ish) place; long-term or short-term - totally free of intrusive negatives. A place where I can snuggle with a pet while my writing takes it shape and form. I am adept in administering meds to ailing animals, orchestrating as many walks as appropriate, changing kitty litter, and picking up feces of inexact dogs. They really do their business anywhere, don’t they?! I am an expert in cuddles and strokes, and yes, the occasional disciplinary pitch of my voice when needed. Call me Zaia – as in “eye” and “uh”.
