House Sitter in Portland, Oregon

My name is Pamela. I'm looking for a caretaker position in Northern Oregon/(Portland area and Hood River/Gorge) and southern Washington/Gorge primarily but also am open to other locations in and out of state. I have lived in Oregon primarily since 1980 in some very creative ways... some care taking and much land stewarding. I have had numerous animals through the years (farm and domestic) and have had and tended with passion many gardens. I have a small 'retreat' catering business (for 20 years now) that leaves me with lots of space (weeks and month(s) between gigs depending on the season. A couple of years ago I gave up my last living situation in Oregon to do a project in San Francisco. This is over now but I still have some connection there and wish to spend the bulk of my time back in Oregon but don't want to settle (rent or buy) into one place for a while. I am also wanting to begin a new endeavor which requires focused quiet time (writing). I am feeling that by house sitting for you this could be a win-win! I am clean and mindful of what needs to be taken care of in a home space and I am capable of handling/meeting problems that might arise in taking care of a property/animals. If in gardening months I would be more than happy to tend to the needs of your gardens...in fact that would be a bonus for me... I can provide many character references of those who have seen me create and take care of many homes/spaces through the years as well as animal care.
