House Sitter in Webster Groves, Missouri

Hi there! We are Lara and Jabari, and we're thrilled to be part of this wonderful community of people willing to share their homes and beloved pets. Slowly but surely, we are building an ideal of the creature comforts - big and small - that our own home may one day feature. Pursuing a semi-nomadic lifestyle has afforded us many opportunities to see how others live and to expand our understanding, in addition to exploring new places as more than a passerby. Jabari works in tech and is able to take his job with him wherever the wind carries us. He's a self-proclaimed homebody and in his leisure time you can often find him reading or catching up on his favorite TV shows. Lara has her homebody moments too, although she is equally happy digging in the dirt or going for a long hike. She works seasonally doing income taxes in the winter and farming in the summer/fall. Our lifestyle would make it difficult to have pets of our own, but we are no stranger to petsitting and critter care. Between the two of us, we have experience caring for bunnies, cats, dogs (pitbulls, Australian shepherds, red heelers, Dobermans, French/English bulldogs, Swissies), chickens, ducks, turkeys, goats, pigs, and cattle (both beef and dairy). Lara is the more experienced animal caretaker, thanks to her varied farm apprenticeships, but Jabari is an excellent helper and is known to quickly win the affection of animals of all types.
