House Sitter in Queens, New York

Recently drove across the country with my partner of almost three years to spark our lives with adventure. Nature is a second home to me, so we spent many nights camping in national parks throughout the country on the way from California to New York. Leaving our beautiful LA apartment with its flourishing balcony garden and sparkling blue pool was not easy, but knowing we would soon be living in the center of the universe - NYC - made it all worthwhile. I am a twenty-two year old preschool teacher who loves traveling, cooking, and playing music among other things. My alma mater is UCLA, where I graduated from in 2016 with a B.A. in Chicana/o Studies and a minor in Education. I spent the last year teaching Spanish, music and organic gardening in a preschool in Culver City where my partner and I would look after friends' homes during their vacations. Though I spent five years in Los Angeles, it was always a treat to get to know a new neighborhood. Now that we've switched coasts, it would be great to get to know New York's different neighborhoods this way as well.
