House Sitter in Glendale, California

Hi! I'm Lawrence, an aspiring home-owner, multi-tasker, and opportunist. I came across this site when I was thinking about extra ways to save money and so here we are, a solid 15 minutes later. I come from a relatively large family, with some properties spread over LA. So, in addition to helping to build homes with my dad and take care of maintenance issues, I'm looking to make any homeowner (you) feel reassured with my ability to take care of their (your) home when they're (you are) having the time of your (their) life. I also hope humor translates well on this post, so here goes to finding out. I currently reside in a home with 2 dogs, 1 cat, potentially thousands of singing morning birds in a nearby oak tree, and at one point 36 bunnies, 2 chickens, and 1 roaster. Animals are pretty great, and I have cat-sit both in SF and in LA for friends and friends of friends. I am a dog person, but that doesn't exclude me from being a cat person, but we all have preferences - at least I would assume. Me as a person, you're wondering? I'd like to think I'm constantly trying to be a good person, keeping my moral compass pointing to truth and justice - oh, really quick, I also love Batman. I'm an honest person who likes to make people feel welcome and comfortable. And batman jokes aside, family is very important to me and I'm close to all my older siblings (1 brother, 2 sisters) and parents. I'm big on communication and joking, but I've learned to distinguish the correct time to do them. I'm currently helping my parents make some decisions about a property in Big Bear, California, so I'm just, in general, familiar with house talk, which makes this fitting for me as a supplementary means of income. If you're still reading this at this point, I'm truly surprised. I do a lot of improv comedy (if that wasn't apparent already) and I enjoy acting and performing very much so (reference: large family). There are a lot of benefits of that, but I think it's made me a good person in all social interactions and I think that is a huge requirement when you, not only, need someone to watch over your home, apartment, and or animals, but someone you can feel comfortable with and have an open dialogue with. I can definitely keep going, but I want to save you the hassle of reading more, especially if you're on the time crunch to find someone you like that can take care of your place.
