House Sitter in Seattle, Washington

Hi there! My name is Laura Chamberlain, and I am a 23-year-old college graduate. I'm currently working at Woodland Park Zoo as an Education Assistant, where I spend all day herding groups of children around while teaching them about plants and animals :). I'll be done with my job on September 1st, and I would LOVE to house sit for you any time after my job has ended! (If you need a house sitter over a weekend before that, I may be available!) I'm especially interested in long-term jobs, although please feel free to reach out with a job of any length. I'm very comfortable with all types of plants and animals (and I love both!!) -- I work at the zoo and spent summers on the farm growing up, so even if you have any less common pets, I'm your gal! I have been a successful house sitter before in Spokane for multiple families, and would be happy to provide references if you'd like. I also have experience with all types of cleaning, having worked for a summer detailing yachts around Seattle inside and out; if you're looking for someone who doesn't mind scrubbing a few toilets, that's me! I'm currently based in Seattle, but totally willing to travel quite a distance for longer-term gigs. A bit of my background: I'm a singer/creator working on expanding my online presence, so the chance to sit and work on getting out positive messages with my music & videos online is exactly what I'm looking for! Although I love to try a new cafe, I'm a natural homebody, and I'll be perfectly content to work on my website all day while petting a cat or dog -- in fact, that sounds like my happy place :).
