Personal Profile: Hello! My name is Janice. I currently reside in Vernon, in British Columbia, Canada. I'm looking for housesitting jobs as I travel around Western Canada and United States. . My aim, as a house and petsitter is to provide you with peace of mind during your time away. I'm available most times of the year, pending other house and pet sitting jobs. My personal interests include: Mountain biking, skiing, hiking and sewing. I am quite a handy person with some carpentry skills, years of experience as a house painter and have been a small business owner. (One business was a drapery business and the other, custom motorcycle seats...sewing is my strongest skill and talent outside of years of piano training.) Services and Training: I am a responsible, active, healthy and mature working woman who is conscientious of the care and security required to maintain a home. I have previous experience as a long and short term house sitter, all of which included pet care and yard maintenance. Further, I also have my own personal transportation. If your pets need to be walked, you can be assured that they will have consistent and good walks with me! (a pleasure for me, too!) My rate varies depending on the duties required. eg: If you have a huge yard and a pool, or if you have pets, my rate is higher than if just caring for a small house with minimal yard and garden work.
