House Sitter in Palm Springs, California

Cindy 60; Brian 65, married 38 years. Long-time resident homeowners living in Calgary, Alberta Canada, recently retired and will officially become "Snowbirds" this fall. It is our intention to live in California, Nevada, Arizona or New Mexico for 4 - 6 months a year beginning in November 2017 - to escape the cold of winter we have "enjoyed" our entire lives. Cindy; homemaker extraordinaire and Brian, whose career was spent in management and product development, have two married daughters and four grandchildren. It was suggested that ads with 500 words received the most "looks", but if I'm in your shoes, I'd be looking for someone who cares about my property and would be a responsible steward in my absence. I can assure you we are very meticulous and responsible in all our dealings. While neither of us have any experience as house-sitters per se, we have tended our various homes demonstrating pride of ownership and can pledge, we would do the same with your home. We are non-smokers and would only be interested in managing a home whose owners also did not smoke.
