House Sitter in Chicago, Illinois

Hello, I am a property owner myself in the process of moving out of my home which I have owned for over ten years. I have a condo unit in Chicago, in a building with five other owned units. I am part of the condo association here. I am very conscious of the duties and responsibilities of being a property owner. I also have worked on farms, and keep my own gardens, and I love working with animals (besides cats or guinea pigs, which I am allergic to). I know the importance of respecting and maintaining property, being a property owner myself who has also rented to tenants at times. I am aware of the importance of boundaries and good communication. I am a very calm, often quiet person who enjoys making art, writing, reading, community events, travel, eating nourishing food, learning, being in nature, and meaningful work. I have lived in urban, smaller density urban, and rural locations. In a home to sit, I really seek a restful, safe, peaceful place to stay as I transition out of my current home, clear out that space, and begin to rent it full time to tenants or possibly just sell it almost right away. Having a separate space (the home I sit) during this time would support me strongly physically, mentally, and emotionally.
