House Sitter in Midlothian, Virginia

After working in a local law firm for almost 20 years, I retired seven years ago in order to maintain what sanity I still possessed. Since retiring, I have been doing more fulfilling work, i.e., pet care, child care, senior care, special needs and house sitting. When not working, I sing with a couple of other performers in retirement centers, hospitals and churches around Richmond and its suburbs -- fun, although challenging at times! After my stepdad passed, my mother and I consolidated our small houses and moved together into a larger home. Life happened, time passed. I cared for Mother until her passing five years ago of lung cancer. I administered her medication, drove her to doctors' appointments, hovered over her and was generally a pest as I tried to interest her in eating. Again, life happened, time passed. Through two other online care sites, I have had many positions caring for people and animals for the past seven years. This includes staying overnights with recuperating hospital patients, seniors with Alzheimer's, children and animals for vacationing parents. I am very responsible, punctual and conscientious.
