Hi there! My name is Kara Bledsoe, and I am a recently graduated college student looking to earn some money before starting graduate school in New York. I am willing and happy to provide pet and plant care, collect mail, and maintain the interior and exterior of your home. I have held many positions that require and lend themselves to responsibility and trustworthiness. Most notably, I served as a Resident Assistant (RA) at Swarthmore College. In this role I completed crisis managment and conflict resolution training, assured the health and safety of 30 students, communicated maintenance requests, and relayed information between the student body and administration. At least once a month, I participated in an On Call rotation, meaning that I was the primary contact for over 120 students for the duration of the weekend. I hosted weekly events for which I purchased grocery items on a budget and took care of the greenery in the hall. My role as RA also included regularly cleaning the dorm kitchens and ensuring that all communal cleaning supplies and equipment were stocked and in good working condition. In addition to being highly detail oriented, I am a quick study, and extremely personable. I love pets and lead a very active lifestyle, so taking pets for walks or engaging them in the house is right up my alley! I am neat and clean, and am easily able to adapt to a homeowner's needs.
