To Whom It May Concern, A Bit About Me: My name is Jon Burrows, I am 35 yrs old and am currently living in Hopkinton, Massachusetts in a home I bought with one of my brothers. I went to college in Burlington, VT, spent a year abroad in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji, also attending college at Plymouth State University in NH where I got my degree in Criminal Justice. After school, I worked in education for almost 10 years, first at an all boys private school as a Behavior Specialist and then went onto work in the Public Schools Systems, working in Guidance. In the last year, I left the school systems to move onto "some bigger and better things"...remodeling my home, taking time to travel, and refocusing my career goals and such... What I Think I Can Provide: I think mostly I can provide "Peace of Mind", in that, upon meeting me, you will feel rest assured that you have hired a detail oriented, responsible, respectable gentlemen that is going to provide an excellent service without worry. While, I haven't spent much "professional time" as a house sitter, I do have extensive knowledge of all the things that come along with owning, upkeeping, and maintaining a functional home. With summertime off for the last 10 years or so, I have worked, on my own, as a HandyMan of sorts, doing small jobs, decks, cabinets, light plumbing/electrical ect ect ect. I have background checks, CORI reports and have never been in trouble. I have every sort of reference possible, from school officials to clients I have done work for and know me well, they are available as needed. Please ask away! What I'm Looking For: A chance to see a bit more of the country. I'm looking to fill the role of a house-sitter, preferably for more than a week and not longer than a few months... I can look after pets of any sorts, kids of any age, and a house of any sorts. I am well adapted in any environment.
