House Sitter in Calgary, Alberta

My husband Shawn and I would welcome the opportunity to look after your home and pets while you are away. We will keep you aware of any issues, water your plants, bring in the mail, keep your house safe and secure and more... If you have animals, we understand that you cannot always take them with you when you go away. We love animals! We'll feed them, play with them and take them for lots of walks. We have owned many dogs, cats and horses over the years. We do not have any pets ourselves at the moment but always enjoy looking after our grand puppy. You may be interested in knowing who would be looking after your home? Shawn is a retired Calgary Firefighter (28 years) and I am a musical entertainer (40 years) and part-time property manager (our own rental properties). We have been happily married for over 39 years (at least most of the time) and currently live in Parksville, BC. We are sensible, level-headed, handy, honest, responsible, conscientious and reliable people (if we don’t say so ourselves) and are non-smokers. We assure you that we will provide you with peace of mind that everything is being taken care of properly. We are house-sitting in Parksville, BC until April 10th and would be happy to help anyone in the surrounding communities on a daily basis while we are here. After April 10th, we are available to house-sit anywhere in BC or Alberta. We are most interested in Vancouver Island BC, Victoria BC, Shawnigan Lake BC or Calgary AB.  Why? We sold our townhouse in Victoria in July 2019 and are in the midst of house hunting for the ideal new home in any of these cities/towns. While doing this, it would be great to stay in the area to experience first hand the people, community and its amenities. We are active people who love being outdoors and love to explore new places to hike, bike and paddle (we are avid paddlers).  Where better to do this than throughout Alberta and BC. We hope that we can set up a mutually beneficial house-sitting arrangement with you where you have responsible honest people looking after your home and pets and we have new places to stay and explore.
