First of all, we are God-fearing people. Mother and I enjoy reading books. I am a self-published author and we don't really watch too much TV. We do like a good movie at the end of our day though. We are good housekeepers and like things neat. Not only do we not look our ages, but we are very young at heart and adventurous! We work as a team and have most of our lives. I will just throw this in for fun ....People always say we are nice looking too. :) We have taken care of our individual homes in our lives so we know what all that entails. You will be getting "double for your money," with us! :) Because of our fun loving and good natures we love animals too and are very open to taking care of your pet(s). Mother grew up on a farm and I grew up with having dogs and cats. We have high standards and abide by moral values. No wild parties here! We respect what isn't ours as we would like what is ours respected. So we abide by the golden rule, "Do to others as you would like them to do to you." We have a great system worked out where one of us will always be at your house. Such as, if one of us are out doing errands, i.e. buying groceries, one of us will always be at the house and call if anything needs to be brought to our attention with either the dog or anything going on around the outside of the house, or vice versa. The following are a few things you can expect while we carefully tend to your place: 1. We will abide by YOUR rules - we are guests and believe in being people of integrity. 2. We will never move your furniture (or anything else) around. 3. We mark all mail with the date of the arrival if it has not already been held back by you, but we will not open it. 4. We do not spread our possessions all over your house. 5. We make sure all sheets and towels are clean before we leave, as well as the rest of the house. 6. We will keep communication lines open with you but not overwhelm and impose upon you. 7. We will not invite guests into the home. Only my adult son might come by on an occasional visit by chance. :) 8. Before we leave we make sure the groceries are restocked. 9. Anything else you might need or like us to do. 10) We are here to serve you and believe in doing all we do with a spirit of excellence. I don't see where there is a "Criminal Background Check" option on this particular site but we are open and available for that as well and believe in providing one for your peace of mind. Also, it doesn't give enough milage range but we are open to travel anywhere in Iowa and possibly IL or MO. We are open to suggestions and are willing to answer any questions you may have.
