House Sitter in Miami Beach, Florida

Just finished 20 years, full time international teaching in Seoul, Cairo, Sapporo and Taiwan. My Japanese wife, dog coco( small dog) and I are interested in a warm climate area ( Florida, Arizona, California, Mexico) for 1 to 3 months in late fall, winter or spring. ( Summer possible) My wife is a chef at a local Japanese restaurant. We own two houses (one rental) which I take care of simple repairs on and have built a water holding tank house, and 3 wood and garden storage houses as well as 3 decks. One house in the mountains has 10 acres which I have maintained over 12 years but have a property manager when we have been gone.I did one year of house siting in Seattle. We both love gardening. I am a wood sculptor/ assemblage artist who also works with paper collage. I ran my own art advising company for 12 years and designed more than 30 corporate collections. I am good at solving problems and patient with people. My wife was a kindergarten teacher for 25 years in Sapporo and is now a chef. Either city or country will work out as country gives me less distractions for studio work and city gives me culture and stimulation for art work. I am 72 and play tennis, kite surf, surf, figure skate and love to explore new areas and cultures. My wife loves animals, ran a small dormitory for 2 years in Taiwan and is a great space planner and organizer. She is extremely, neat likes house cleaning and very Japanese! We are both looking for a new adventure with some responsibility as we have been doing in international countries. Strong recommendations over 30 years. I am currently doing one week artist residencies in the Hood River School system and have just finished 20 small library house commissions. We live one hour from the Portland airport and can fly to a warm climate city! Your house will be safe and well taken care of by both of us!
