House Sitter in Vancouver, British Columbia

I am an active retired single senior who volunteers internationally as a business development advisor for women's and youth programs in third world countries. I have just returned from Guyana, South America where I volunteered for the Guyana Volunteer Youth Core (see pictures with profile). I am currently researching new volunteer opportunities for 2018. I am a well educated, friendly quiet woman, non-smoker, non-drinker. I have owned my own home until this year when I decided to volunteer internationally while I had still have good energy and good health. I am not one to lie on the beach or do touristy things so volunteering internationally allows me to travel and serve others. I have volunteered in one way or another most of my life. I was born and brought up in Vancouver but have lived throughout BC. I am well traveled, musically trained (piano, although I haven’t played in some time). I enjoy reading, writing, walking and gardening. I love cats and know how to care for them. I do miss the ones I had when I lived in my house. My daughter and her family live in Vancouver (see picture taken from my bon voyage party earlier this year). I would like to house sit in the Vancouver within walking distance to public transit so I can visit them easily. I am bondable and my RCMP criminal check was completed on June 1, 2017. This is the first time I have considered house sitting but as I up and sold everything to allow me the freedom to volunteer internationally I was encouraged to register by a friend who house sits herself.
