House Sitter in Bend, Oregon

I'm an experienced pet and house sitter with stellar references. However, I'm new to housesitters..... hence, am happy to provide more references and have a Skype meeting anytime to find out if I am a good match. I've been housing sitting off and on for over 3 decades and have had house & pet sitters take care of my own home and dogs. I'm a homeowner and landlord (managing my own rental properties) so I know how important it is to find a competent, caring, reliable person you can trust with your beloved pets and home. I've had the good fortune to be involved with large and small animals in many ways over the past 50 years. My biggest two animal-related accomplishments are: 1. Being the founding president of a private non profit animal relief organization that was eventually able to build a facility to care for and re-home homeless dogs and cats. 2. Owning a dog training school where I taught free "dog psychology" classes to the community and started a "puppy kindergarten" program that taught people how to gently and kindly begin socializing and training their puppies at 3 months of age. Housesitting is a way that I can experience new places as a local and enjoy the companionship of animals too. I'm a healthy, active outdoor enthusiast and animal lover who enjoys nature, and the novel experiences that adventure that travels brings. I've always lived in beautiful places (Colorado, Montana, Oregon, Florida) and spend my free time hiking, biking, paddle boarding and skiing in the winter. I live in Bend., OR most of the year and spend winter months in or near Tucson, AZ, and am available in both places for housesitting.
