House Sitter in Atlanta, Georgia

Hello! I'm originally from the heart of Cajun Country - Lafayette, Louisiana. And, I'm a real Cajun girl. My name is Julie Hebert, and I'm 54 years old. I'm an empty nester, single and recently relocated from Houston, Texas to Atlanta, Georgia. My interest in traveling and exploring different cultures has been varied. I hosted a high school exchange student from Italy in the 80's for a year. I lived in Japan in the early 90's. I've had the great advantage of traveling to many places around the world with my job as an IT Service Director these past 25 years. My young adult children share my zeal for travel, and we've taken some great trips to Italy (stayed with my Italian "daughter"'s family), England, Spain, Japan (rendezvousing with my best friend from my Japan days) and, most recently, Mexico City. You won't believe my recent luck! I just won a trip to Sydney, Australia where I'll be appearing as an extra in the Opera Carmen in the Sydney Opera House in February 2018. My best girlfriend and I are giddy with our anticipated adventures down under. Now for a little career history: After graduating in Mechanical Engineering, I moved from Louisiana to North Texas to start my career in Aerospace Engineering. Computers were becoming prevalent, and I dove into Computer Engineering. Thus began my career in the IT Industry, first as an engineer in the technical ranks and then into leadership as the industry took off. My job relocated my young family to Houston. And, now that I'm on my own and was ready for an adventure, a new job opportunity has landed me in Atlanta. https://....com/ With Atlanta as a vaulting point, I'm eager to start exploring the southeastern US. My next trip will be in Charleston area August 19-22nd. So I hope someone in Charleston is looking for someone just like me. I'm also open to taking care of your place in Atlanta if it's in the downtown area, as I currently am working in the heart of Atlanta's downtown.
