House Sitter in Glenview, Illinois

Hello my name is Teri Gaumond. I have been House/Pet sitting for over 20 years. I do daily visits and/or overnight stays. I make sure there is fresh water daily,feed,let out,play time. For cats basically same except clean litter boxes instead of of letting out. I began house/pet sitting after my then veterinarian got married .and referred me to her clients. Through the years I cared for many terrific animals. I loved the idea of caring for a pet in there own familiar surroundings.I know when they are boarded sometimes they are very unhappy. They feel more comfortable in their own home. One reason I began doing this is because sometimes animals would get sick in a kennel atmosphere. When kept in their own surroundings they are much happier. I had several clients through the years, but in 2007 I was diagnosed with cancer. In June i was diagnosed..... July my mom died, and in December I had my first surgery. During all of this I had lost almost all of my clients. A few waited until I got home and was able to get stronger. Eventially I had gotten just a few new clients. I am always looking for terrific homes with terrific pets. Look forward to hearing from You Thank You Teri
