House Sitter in Garland, Texas

Hello my name is Lana, a very young 55. I have been married and lived in Garland for over 30 years, So, I have a home, a swimming pool that needs attention, a yard with grass to be mowed, flowers to be watered, a veggie garden in the summer, floors to be mopped/dusted/vaccumed, mail delivery, weekly trash/recycles bins to put out for pick up, a sunroom full of expensive plants, 2 swimming Laborador Retrievers, and a non-swimming Pomeranian. So, yea, leaving town is big deal with several things to consider. ESPECIALLY if you have pets. Our pets have always been our children and honestly, we literally don't go on vacation as we won't leave them alone and we are just too picky to leave them with anyone. But, we both work from home (I have an eBay store) and they are not used to even being alone for more 2 hours at any given time, About the time it would take for us to go out to dinner. I know, I know!!! So, I know there is a serious need for this service. The most important thing is trusting your pet with someone, believe me! I house/pet sat for a little over a week out in Mansfield, Tx and really enjoyed it. (Was there 24/7) It was an emergency for them but I truly felt as if I made their trip a little easier not having to worry about their pets and house here in Texas. They were very appreciative as I way exceeded what was asked of me. I just see there that there is a great need for this service and that is what has prompted me to fill this out. Going on vacation shouldn't be some huge problem or some huge expense. I called around to kennel our 3 dogs for a week and it was well over a thousand dollars. Needless to say, we didn't go anywhere. That's just insane.
