Hello ! As my headline states, I am a high school English teacher who just completed thirty years of service to the state of South Carolina. I will teach for several more years before retiring.All my life I have loved animals, and I will care for your home as if it were my own. My reputation is stellar, and for many of the summers off from school, I have either taught summer school or worked on my Master of Arts degree in several states across this beautiful country of ours. A non-smoker, I have one daughter who is a teacher herself and who lives near Charlotte, NC. I am writing a novel and am about halfway though, so house-sitting for you would give me the opportunity to look at my work with fresh eyes in a different location.Though I currently do not own a dog now, I raised Boxers for many years. Most lived to be 14 years or older.I love all creatures great and small and am eager to play with your babies, walk them, and feed them per your instructions. I love cats and have a tuxedo cat named Hootie who is eleven years old..... daughter would keep him during the time when I would be house-sitting for you. Changing litter boxes is not a problem nor is watering or taking care of your plants. Most importantly, I am a tidy, quiet, clean individual who will respect your wishes, your property, and your pets.Widowed many years ago, I am 57 and in excellent health with no addictions. I am new to this website but a quick learner and am able to provide character references if needed.
