House Sitter in Lewiston, Maine

Hello. My name is Chris Babb. A few years back I moved in with a friend of mine who was a single parent of 2 boys. At that time she had offered me a place to stay but little did I know I would get so much more. When first meeting the kids I though oh my, as they were literally out of control and without a male figure in there life. Throughout the upcoming months the youngest one went from running at u with knives, swearing, and destroying the house to being able to sit at the dinner table quietly, following directions, and learn mannerisms of please and thank you, The second child had some of the same issues. His major one was hitting and punching with full force and complete defiance when asked to do something. Helping him to understand why what he was doing and how he was reacting was wrong and hertful helped him to grow into a child that offered to help around the house and exert his anger into something like playing out side or playing with a ball in the yard. Every child is different and learns in a different manner. When I moved out I had to explain to the youngest that I was not his dad. Altho I had been acting the role of one I was his uncle or older brother. It broke my heart. I love kids. I love seeing then moarf into something amazing and proud. As a kid I myself didn't have a very happy or safe upbringing. But its that reason why I love helping and being there to encourage and just have fun with kids. I want to give them something I never had and in the end know that I made a difference.
