Hi friends! My name is Sara and it would be an honor to care for your home. My work history has allowed me to develop useful skills - housekeeping supervisor, nanny, waitress, barista, dog walker, conservation crew leader and more. My attention to detail is impeccable. Juggling multiple drink orders or children has fine tuned by ability to work fast and stay on my toes! My yoga and meditation practice keeps me calm and equanimous in stressful times. I love animals and children. I'd love to help bring more ease and peace to your life, be it taking care of your home, plants, pets, etc. My experience house sitting has always included caring for people or animals. I've spent summers in Maine caring for a beach front compound and an elderly matriarch. While living in DC, I regularly house-sat and dog sat. I also have experience caring for teenagers and their home while mom is away - which includes preparing meals, getting children to and from school, cleaning, gardening and composting. I've also been teaching Dharma and Rocket Yoga for the past 10 years. I strive to embody the teachings of yoga, such as nonharming, compassion, honesty, non-stealing, self-inquiry, grit and surrender. I'm introverted, love books and a quiet yoga meditation practice. I enjoy cooking and gardening. I love to spend as much time outside as possible, be it hiking, camping, sun bathing.
