House Sitter in Fairfield, Ohio

I am a Vet that is 80 years old that needs to pick up some extra income. Even though the body is wearing out the mind still works. in the 90's my wife and I were resident custodians of a senior citizens apartment complex. We helped residents that had dogs when they couldn't walk them and fed cats when they left for a few days. We had a 13-14 year dog while we lived there and had to put her down. The residents were almost upset as we were. They had a big party after we had every apartment rented for the first time and a couple years later sold it. Two years later we became resident custodians in a complex off section road. Again fed cats when residents went out of town or were laid up and couldn't do it. There was only one dog and the owners always walked her. The owner would let the dog run outside and would not always come when he was ready to go in. He would go back up to his condo on the third floor and leave the dog run in the small wooded hillside on the end of the building. When the dog was ready to go in it would come and stand by the front door until someone saw her. I would open the door and she would run to the elevator and look to see if I was coming. I would push 3 on the elevator and say Daisy go home. Smart dog. A lady that lived in an apartment that was not our complex found out that I was doing cats when their owner was gone, asked if I could do her cats. That was around 2001 and I'm still feeding them today --not the same cats but 2 different ones. This is about all I have to say except a short story on how smart cats are. We Lived in a 5th wheel trailer in the early 9o's and spent winters in Gulf Shores and my daughter and husband came down to spend Christmas with us. When she went home 4 placemats were missing off of the table and Mr. and Mrs. Clause who were about 9" tall and stuffed fairly big were missing. She called the lady that was coming in and taking care of the cats if she had to move them somewhere else .Up on being told no she started checking everywhere and finally found them drug in behind the couch. It would been fun to have a camera recording that, because the would have had to spend hours doing that. Yes I love dogs and crazy cats
