House Sitter in St. Augustine, Florida

Originally from UK and lived in GA for 18 years (did my time there), followed by St Augustine, Florida for the last 4 years, I am now looking to possibly move to Seattle. I have never visited Washington, having spent most of my free time/vacations visiting family in England. Last Christmas, I visited my daughter in NZ and have been searching online for that place in USA that resembles NZ, as it was simply amazing. Seattle appears to be somewhat similar. Since I am turning the Big 60 in January, I'd like to make a move to where I will be finally settled before I retire. My occupation is that of a Remote Medical Coding Specialist, so I can live/work anywhere within the USA which has prompted me to seek House Sitting jobs near to/within Seattle so I can come & explore. It's not just the mountains/lakes etc that draws me there but I am looking forward to less humidity/cooler temps and yes!...rain and snow (since I am from Lancashire/up North). Quite honestly fed up of skin scares,beaches and not being able to breathe! I have just been turned down for Christmas time off at work (since I had the last 2 years Christmas's), and so I am somewhat available but would need to have a good Internet access etc but ideally, my definite availability would be anywhere from 29 Dec 2017. At some point during the summer, I shall be travelling to visit my daughter for approx.5 weeks but other than that, I am available all year. I am also available over Thanksgiving but since I'd have to travel from Florida, it would be better to find a few House Sitter positions to make the trip unless it was for a couple of weeks or so. Presently, I have no pets but had a chocolate Lab for 14 years/2 cats for 6 years. Didn't want to get another pet until I felt more settled as I was still travelling/ visiting home etc. I'm hoping Seattle/areas will be my future forever home. I can provide reliable and loving care to all animals (except gigantic spiders and Florida roaches). Having said that, I am of course open to House Sitting within my own present area of Florida/anywhere else of interest within USA/Canada.
