House Sitter in Neenah, Wisconsin

Hello! My name is Benjamin Novak, and I live in Neenah, Wisconsin. I am a freelance house-sitter who would love to watch your home! I reside with my wife, Hannah, and our cat, Milo, who is currently our only fur-baby, but we're open to adopting more in the future. I am very used to taking care of cats, as I have owned several throughout my life. Changing litter, feeding, brushing, and petting/cuddling/worshiping-at-their-feet are all things I am very familiar with. I've even had kittens before! Although I am generally a cat person, I also know how to take care of dogs. I've owned 4 throughout my life - black lab, border collie, german shepherd, mutt - and am no stranger to going on walks, scratching bellies, feeding, and the like. I'm not scared of dogs, and if they don't want to be nice to me, well, we don't have to great friends, but I will still make sure they are warm and fed. I may only have one furry pet, however, I have nearly 50 (and counting) plant pets! Should you need someone to watch your little home-jungle, look no further! I will make sure they are given adequate sunlight and watered when they are parched. If you want, I'll even talk to them :D My day job is working as a Team Lead for customer service at Timberland; our offices are located in the VF Outdoor building on County Rd CB right across from the Appleton Airport. I take calls, respond to emails and texts, and handle warranty claims on defective products, all while sounding "gladly" and practicing a culture of "yes". I grew up living in a country house on 15 acres in the middle of the woods just south of Waupaca, and am definitely not scared of "the wild". I've taken care of my family's chickens since I was seven, helped in the garden, landscaped with my dad, shoveled snow, planted trees, shoveled rocks, painted anything and everything, baked and helped in the kitchen, cleaned the house, and anything else one does on a country homestead. Currently, I live in an upper apartment in Neenah, and, while it is different living in town, I'm really enjoying it. My favorite things are having reliable wi-fi/phone service and being able to have all sorts of food delivered to my door :) While this may seem trivial, here are some facts about me: I drink black coffee at home, but unflavored breves when I'm out. If I could only eat one food for the rest of my life, it would be sushi. I play piano and am teaching myself ukulele and accordion. I attend Emmaus Road Presbyterian Church in Appleton. I am an avid reader and prefer fiction over non-fiction. My queen is Adele, but I'm generally not a pop music fanatic; my jam is folk, jazz, or oldies. I'm an aspiring minimalist who is also an old soul who wants to collect ALL the old things. I am so looking forward to taking care of your abode and making sure your pets/plants don't miss you too much while you're gone :)
