House Sitter in Norfolk, Virginia

Application: Hi, there my name is Doug. I'm interviewing for a house sitting job opportunity in and around the Norfolk, Virginia area. My goal is to apply my abilities and experiences, as a house sitting provider. Available now part-time. I currently work from 2400 (12am) to 0800 (8am). I am comfortable doing plant watering, lawn maintenance, with your equipment and training if needed. Further, I have personal transportation available. I have not done house sitting since I was a child. Yet, I am a pro. I have done so much since pre-teen jobs, and I believe I could make one feel secure in leaving their home in my care. I started adult employment as a military police,/corrections officer, I am currently a security officer. Though not allowed to work in uniform away from the job, many have seen me as a friendly deterrent or authority figure. I present that character trait, formed by experience and nature, as what most leaving their homes unattended would prefer most of all. A secure and visible non-threatening, mature presence. This note is for me as well as you. (Allways leave a note as well as a contact number explaining to authorities why I would be there.) I have almost always worked more than one job at a time. Once contracted your needs would be at highest status, when not in uniform. I have and still do work with children in a few different capacities.; the longest of which Is assisting in home daycare. I am a male and politically it has become too risky for us to work with children without legal disclaimers and tons of lawyers. This is not a childcare application. I have worked at a county animal shelter but don't care to care for animals that are lap babies or that may turn on you. We would of course speak and hopefully meet prior to agreeing to a deal. I am simply old enough and have lived a life responsible enough that I am certain I could assist you with your needs. Thank you for your consideration. p.s.
