House Sitter in Federal Way, Washington

I am a mature, responsible woman looking for the occasional babysitting, petsitting, housesitting or freelance writing job in the Federal Way, WA vicinity I am as comfortable caring for newborns as I am supervising and playing with older children. I love kids and animals! I enjoy interacting with children - getting to know their unique personalities, and experiencing the world through their eyes. I know from owning my own pets what it takes to properly feed, bathe, entertain and clean up after dogs and cats. I realize every pet is different though, and welcome and will adhere to any individualized care instructions. My pet care specialties include horses, hamsters, rats, ferrets and goldfish. Although l attended college after graduating from high school (studying The Adminstration of Justice and Business at Highline CC, Mechanical Drafting and Engineering at Green River CC, Horticulture through Renton Vocational and Computer Skills and Applications through Adult Education at the University of Washington), I haven't yet earned a higher education degree, and still don't know "what I want to be when I grow up". I DID, however earn a Certificate of Horticulture Arts from Renton Vocational in 1994. (And an unexpected "Honorary Doctoral Degree" in unplanned pregnancy and childrearing.) I'm not looking for a regular sitting job -just the occasional opportunity to provide childcare so parents can get some time away from the kids and pets, or taking temporary responsibility for a person's home and pet obligations so they can escape on a well-deserved vacation, or go out of town on business. Naturally, I wouldn't turn down an opportunity to work from home as a freelance writer on a regular basis! My goal is to get enough money to fix my car (see profile picture) so I can experience life again. I want to be able to go camping at Mount Rainier when I feel like it, run to the store when I'm out of something and go see the coast that I haven't seen in over ten years. Or just bring my grandchildren..... McDonald's. Hiring me for the odd job here and there will benefit both of our lives!
