Open to many different sitting experiences; from short term to longer term; urban to rural; desert to tropical; local to global. I have lived in the city, country, desert, mountains, off-grid, and in the tropics. I am comfortable in diverse settings and will consider all possibilities. I will be expanding my preferred locations in 2017. ~ What do you need? ~ Hello Traveler(s), Thank you for taking the time to read my profile and decide if I am the sitter for your needs. Let's just dive right in, shall we... My name is Yarah Sutra...originally from the Pacific Northwest, I spent the last 12 years in California before I packed my bags and have been housesitting up and down the west coast for the last year. I have lived and traveled to many places...nationally and internationally. Me: artistic, playful, talented, adventurous, loving, trustworthy, responsible, adaptable, happy, diverse, embodied, dependable, direct, clean, integrity, honest, communicative, emotionally intelligent, solution-oriented, joyful, go with the flow, curious, innovative thinker, inspired/inspiring, grateful, and much more. ~ 41-years-young ~ Entrepreneur, healer, speaker, author, educator, mentor...really; it's all the same thing...it's all me, those are just titles. I help women heal and step fully into their feminine power. ~ I don't smoke and only drink rarely - occasionally. ~ I'm a super cuddly animal lover, who works from home...meaning; I actually have time for your house and your pets. ~ I live a pretty healthy, active lifestyle with some bumps and bruises I have earned along the way. ~ Single-mom transitioning into a single-woman; I am excited for the adventures life is bringing my way, now that my son has started living on his own. Ideally, I'm looking for: ~ Strong internet connection is a must for sits over 5 days, as I work from (hopefully, your) home. ~ Living off-grid is great for 1-5 days since it provides some much needed down time, and added bonus...it also gives focus time for writing. However, having a coffee shop with internet close by is preferred, so I can keep in touch with clients and my son when necessary. Am I experienced enough for your house/pet sit? Only you can know that. I am new to HouseSitter....., but not to house sitting. ~ I've had multitudes of sitting jobs since I was 11 years old (baby, pet, plants, and house) ~ I've had pets my whole life (dogs, cats, birds, fish, rodents). The most recent furry family member being a very hyperactive pooch Akua (pictured), she's is 1/2 boxer, 1/2 pit with 2 scoops of crazy and a dash of deer...I swear...she learned how to jump by watching the deer bound through the grass on 22 acres. We got her at 8 weeks, she's now 5 years (in the divorce...I got our son, the ex got our dog.) ~ I spent each summer on my grandparents farm until I was 16...and helped some with the gardening and animals (cows, chickens, pigs, horses, and dogs too). ~ I have also managed a store, own/run my own business, and was co-founder of a household for 15 years before going out on my own as the CEO and CFO of Single Mom-hood. And I will have to say that I have been rocking that for 5 years now, during adolescence no less! I'll show up with presence, joy, love of life, responsibility, and integrity.
