About Me: Welcome! My name is Desiree. I'm a quiet individual who practices yoga, loves the outdoors, and who doesn't party. I LOVE animals of all shapes and sizes (even the creepy crawly ones) - I have a pool in my backyard and if I spot something struggling to survive I go in and rescue it. I love adventure; and good books- right now I'm reading IT by Stephan King! What a great read! I'm almost halfway. I went to Cal Poly Pomona and graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry - yes I do actually like math and doing experiments was pretty cool too. I'm in the midst of going back to school to get additional classes in Environmental Science (I'm a HUGE advocate for our planet) as I want to work more with our environment. I will look after your house and belongings with the care, attention and love it deserves. I find joy in the activities I do and if I can provide some sense of relief that your house is in good hands; I would've done my job. I can alter my schedule to meet your needs. Description of Skills: I am comfortable doing pool maintenance (I have a pool myself), mail collecting (and sorting), and even light errands - need me to pick up late dry cleaning? Pet food? Plant food? I can do that, I have reliable transportation. I have experience in pet care (even the exotic- saltwater & freshwater fish tanks, birds, lizards, rabbits and once a guinea pig), even plants. I have a bonsai tree that is growing and very much alive. I used to own dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and fish - currently it's just fish (100 gallon saltwater & 10 gallon freshwater) - no one seems to understand how much even fish need maintenance! My other fur friends have passed due to old age, but they all lived very fruitful and cared for lives. I have prior experience house sitting for relatives, family friends and families of friends.
