Hi Y'all, We are Chris and Brandon and we've been partners for 11 years. Like many, the recent pandemic has changed our life dramatically. Brandon got furloughed from his executive chef position and I'm working still but completely remotely and making my own schedule. After years of the grind, in NYC, we now have the opportunity to slow down and get out of the city for a while, see other parts of the country, and return shelter for work, for help, for taking care of your place! We are fine with pets (have 2 cats at home) and plants, cleaning and more! Description of Skills: Brandon - I can take care of plant watering, pet and animal care, and bird feeding. Further, I have personal transportation available. I'm an unemployed chef with over 20 years of experience. For the past five years I had been working in a private school and before that an upscale retirement community. I have experience in cooking for all types of diets as well as gardening (vegetables and herbs), pickling, etc. I'm handy with a hammer grown up in a rural environment, originally from Georgia. Have over 20 years of inspections from the health department in my work kitchen, I'm no slouch when it comes to cleaning! Chris - I work in education, remotely with a college. While not logged in, I'll be helping with the pets, plants, cleaning and any additional tasks as needed. Not so handy with a hammer myself but I'll cheer Brandon on. We aren't partiers. The whole point of housesitting for us is to get away and find some peace and quiet. We just want to bring in your mail and mow your lawn.
